The Canton Classic Car Museum
The Museum is located at 123 Sixth St. and holds more than 35 vintage, classic, and unique automobiles that are on display. The Canton Classic Car Show is held every year in various locations. There are over 100 different classes of cars that will be on display, and there are also special events like a car show for kids as well as a drag race where visitors can watch their favorite cars go up against each other in a head-to-head competition.

Canton’s local brewery, The Canton Brewing Company, offers tours and the best German cuisine options for a proper foodie. They also offer free samples, so you can try out some of their beers before buying them at their store located inside their cool building!

Get Lost in Mill Creek MetroParks
Mill Creek MetroParks consists of nearly 14,000 acres across three counties: Stark, Carroll and Tuscarawas Counties. It’s home to a variety of hiking trails (including the Buckeye Trail), biking trails (including a section of the Little Miami Scenic Trail) and even horseback riding trails (which connect to the Stark County Park District’s horseback riding trails).

Visit the National First Ladies’ Library
Canton is known as the “town that saved presidents” because eight U.S. presidents have visited the city. But did you know that Canton is also home to the National First Ladies’ Library? The National First Ladies’ Library was opened in 2000 and hosted Lady Melania Trump.
The library showcases artifacts from presidential wives throughout history, as well as information on first ladies’ roles as spouses, mothers and philanthropists. Visitors can also view rotating exhibits on topics such as women in politics and education for girls around the world.
The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum
The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, which includes a presidential tomb. The museum is a historic site in Canton, and it was President William McKinley’s library (1843–1901), who was assassinated in Buffalo, New York on September 6, 1901. The museum is located at the corner of Market Avenue and N. Main Street (U.S. Route 30) in downtown Canton. The museum houses McKinley’s presidential memorabilia and other exhibits about his life and presidency, including his death mask and the bullet that killed him.
The Ohio Theater
This is one of only five art-deco theaters remaining in America and is the home of the Canton Symphony Orchestra and Canton Concert Ballet. The Ohio Theater was built in 1928 and has been around since then, with its original facade still intact today.
It was built as an art-deco style theater with two balconies and a grand staircase leading up to the theater entrance. It has been renovated several times over the years, but still remains one of only five art-deco theaters remaining in America today. The theater hosts other events throughout the year, such as concerts, lectures, seminars, and more!
Canton Palace Theatre
The Palace Theatre is a historic landmark known for its beautiful architecture and acoustics. It’s home to The Canton Youth Ballet Company and North Canton Playhouse, which presents live theater all year round. The theater was built in 1926 by the Loew’s Corp., who also built many other theaters across the country.
