Take a Hike up Old Baldy
This unique rock formation is a 220 staircase made of limestone and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It’s only a 7-minute drive from Wimberley, but make sure you have access from the highway due to private property issues. You can park along the roads, then walk up the hillside trail to reach the summit area. This hike takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your speed and fitness level.
