Pier 60
Located on Clearwater Beach, Pier 60 in Clearwater is the best spot in Clearwater to watch the sunset, It’s a pier that juts out into the Gulf of Mexico, and it’s home to some wonderful restaurants and bars. Honeymoon Island State Park
When you are in the Tampa Bay area, be sure to visit Honeymoon Island State Park. It’s a great spot for a day trip or overnight camping trip. The park covers over 1,000 acres and includes nearly four miles of sandy beaches. Honeymoon Island is a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, fishing, picnicking The island also has several nature trails that offer visitors the opportunity to view wildlife, including dolphins, manatees, and birds. The park is open from 8 a.m. to sundown year-round. Admission is free.
Dunedin
Dunedin is a charming coastal city located just South of Tampa in Clearwater. It bills itself as the “sailing capital of Florida” because of its many marinas and yacht clubs. It is known for its quaint downtown area, beautiful beaches, and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities, making it a perfect weekend getaway spot. If you’re looking for a fun way to explore Dunedin, take the Clearwater Ferry! It’s a great way to get scenic views of the city and its surroundings, and it’s also perfect for enjoying a lovely day out on the water. The ferry operates between downtown Dunedin and downtown Clearwater, so be sure to check the schedule to see if it’s a route you’d like to take.
Caladesi Island State Park
Caladesi Island State Park is a beautiful state park located in Clearwater, Florida. The park features white sand beaches, mangrove forests, and stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Clearwater Marine Aquarium is an aquarium was founded in 1972 by Kenneth and Gloria Levy. The aquarium’s primary purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate marine life, most notably sea turtles. Some of the aquarium’s most famous residents include Winter the dolphin, played by actor Morgan Freeman in the movie Dolphin Tale, and Hope, a sea turtle that was fitted with a prosthetic flipper. The aquarium also features exhibits on dolphins, sharks, and other rescued marine animals. Clearwater Marine Aquarium is open every day of the year except for Christmas Day. Admission is $24.95 for adults, $19.95 for seniors (ages 60 and up), $14.95 for children (ages 3-12), and free for children 2 and under.
Sand Key Park
With its white sand beaches and clear blue waters, Sand Key Park is a must-visit for any nature lover. The park has a wide variety of activities to enjoy, including fishing, swimming, sunbathing, and more. There’s also a playground for the kids and a pavilion that can be rented for events, as well as a dog park. The park is situated on a barrier island, providing visitors with beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. If you’re in luck, you can spot some wildlife, such as dolphins, manatees, otters and pelicans. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Clearwater area!
Florida Botanical Gardens
The Florida Botanical Gardens are a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. They feature a variety of plant life, including native plants and exotic species. The gardens also include a butterfly garden, an herb garden, and a bonsai garden. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the gardens or participate in one of the many educational programs offered. Tarpon Springs

You’ll also get to meet Captain Memo, and hear some of his stories from the high seas. It’s a lot of fun for both kids and adults, and a great way to learn about the area. Admission is just $10 for adults and $8 for kids, and the cruise lasts about an hour.
