One of the first things to do in Grappevine, TX is… shopping! Grapevine Mills Mall is one of the largest urban shopping malls in the country. This huge mall features over 180 stores, with an impressive selection of popular retailers. You’ll find your favorite brands and boutiques, as well as entertainment all under one roof. Grapevine Mills also has a large food court with plenty of options to satisfy your appetite. The mall is located near I-635 on Grapevine Mills Parkway and is open from 10am to 9pm during the week and 10am to 7pm on Sundays.
The Historic Downtown Grapevine
Historic Downtown Grapevine is five blocks of historic buildings that date from the 1880’s, housing many shops and restaurants. There are weekly events and festivals, public art, historic buildings and a river walk. And the buildings along Main Street are the stuff of postcards: brick facades, old-fashioned storefronts, historic awnings and wooden front doors. There’s a weekly farmers market on Main Street each Saturday starting at 8 am. You’ll find vendors selling fresh produce as well as prepared foods that you can enjoy for breakfast or lunch! Legoland Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth
Legoland Discovery Center is a miniature indoor theme park. Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium
With more than 5,000 creatures representing over 200 different species, the aquarium offers interactive exhibits and an underwater tunnel with a 360-degree view of sharks, stingrays and sea turtles. There are also jellyfish, octopus and seahorses to be found along with an interactive quiz trail for kids. Come face to fin with rescued sea turtles, nurse sharks and rays at their brand new Sea Life Rescue Center. Great Wolf Lodge
Great Wolf Lodge is a full-featured water park with slides, pools, and fun activities. The best part? It’s open year-round and is always 84 degrees! From the moment you arrive at the lodge and are greeted by their signature wolf, you will be instantly transported to a Northwoods adventure. You can hang out in your room, which offers lodge-themed décor with fireplaces, private balconies or patios and more. Or you can head over to their water park that features 10 mind-blowing slides (including a slide in total darkness), a wave pool and even a lazy river.
Vetro Glassblowing Studio
Vetro Glassblowing Studio offers a wide variety of classes and workshops to help you master the art of glassblowing, an ancient art where artists blow molten glass into different shapes. You can even schedule a birthday party or bachelorette party there, if you like. If you’re looking for something more specific than general glassblowing classes, consider the Kids Party Package at Vetro.
